Junimo in Your Shipping Box
I never feel like I have enough junimo in my Stardew life. I find them so cute, I just wanna hug and squeeze one but alas, I don't have the money to buy or the patience to craft my own RL plushie.
I'll have to settle for more in-game Junimo content.
Credit for the original idea to put anything in the shipping box when it opens is not mine. (See Pam and Morris in your shipping box, made by others.) I'm not sure who did it first, but just wanted everyone to know the idea wasn't mine.
You will see that there are two folders when you download my files. Read below as to why.
***If you aren't using any map recolors (vanilla game):***1. Copy the files from the vanilla replacements folder to your Content folder and Content/Maps folder. In case of problems, always back up your original files so you can reverse the changes without reinstalling your game completely!2. XNBLoader (redirects your game to load different files than the vanilla game comes with--I recommend it!): Copy the files from the vanilla replacements folder into XNBLoader's ModContent folder and ModContent/Maps folder.***If you are using a map recolor, it's a little more complicated.***You will need to take the following files and use XNBExtract to edit the appropriate tile sheets that the game uses to color your maps. These are found when you extract the .png files from fall_OutdoorsTileSheet.xnb, spring_OutdoorsTileSheet.xnb, summer_OutdoorsTileSheet.xnb, and winter_OutdoorsTileSheet.xnb. Then from the folder where the pngs were unpacked, open the appropriate season's png in your favorite editor. (I use GIMP, whatever you use it has to support partial transparency or bugs may occur including glitching in the light that comes through windows and from lamps.) Also open the png in the Overlays folder for the junimo color you want to appear in your shipping box when it opens. Select the entire page and copy it so it will be in the correct position. Then go back to the window you have open with your seasonal tilesheet and paste the overlay onto it. Your junimo should be in the correct position, though I don't know how every editor works to be 100% certain. Then save the file, repack it into an xnb with XNBExtract, and follow the instruction given above based on whether you want to replace default files or use XNBLoader.
